My full size Australian Shepard has been chewing out of our back gate lately. Yesterday he chased and nipped a girl walking home from school; she may need stitches from the nip. I had found him a home as a puppy due to the lack of spending quality time with him, but somehow he escaped. Because we had chipped him, we ended up getting him back. We have cats, small dogs and children in our home. I am considering taking him to the humane society and I know that they will "put him down. He is a loving dog, and I do not know what to do at this point. My first call was to the vet who recommended a muzzle. I do not plan to keep him and I feel responsible for his lack of attention causing his behavior.
