We have a 6-month-old Mini Aussie. We brought him home when he was around 13 weeks, and everything in puppyhood has been pretty great besides the house training.
He went home to my parents with me for two days over Thanksgiving, and he has reverted since. We were managing one accident a week now he is completely refusing to go potty outside.
Again, I know the trip was probably stressful but it’s been over two weeks and no sign of improvement, in fact it has escalated. We are getting hopeless, as extremely busy young people it’s getting more and more taxing to have to clean up 5-6 or more times a day.
Any advice is appreciated, even if it’s just how your pup was also a slow learner—that’ll maybe help me remember he won’t always be this way.
