8-Week-Old Puppies With Neurological Disease

My dog had had seven puppies two months ago. Five of them are great and going into their new families soon. But two of them seem to have a problem.

My vet says it is probably neurological but she has never seen that before so is a bit clueless.

The two puppies were just a little bit smaller at birth, they are both red tricolour with blue eyes, long and curly hair (longer and curlier than the others). At first, they seemed blind but in fact, they can now see, it just took them more time. They fall a lot, they look dizzy, they don't walk straight, and are much smaller than the others (2.5kg Vs 4.5kg average). But they seem really happy, don't suffer and are full of life.

My vet wants to put them down since she doesn't know what they have but I hate this idea. They just look much younger and are clumsier than their siblings.

I really want to know what they have and if they will get better. Have you ever seen that?

Thank you in advance.

Interesting!

So I have never heard of that before but maybe they have autism or something like that? Definitely worth putting them to sleep for. I recommend keeping them and if they seem fine after a while try selling them.

Hope this helps!
