There are too many tragic stories about dogs being seriously harmed and even dying when exposed to certain drugs. Even if you think you know all about drugs that are dangerous to Aussies due to the MDR1 gene mutation you will still want to check out this months new articles. Your dog can get into unexpected sources of these drugs that you need to be aware of and to look out for. In addition to our new article about Ivermectin, Trifexis and the MDR1 gene mutation we want to also let you know about Rimadyl. While this is a drug primarily used for joint pain in dogs with arthritis there are also other uses that could expose Aussies, young and old, to it's often serious (and sometimes fatal) side-effects. Dog Quote for Today Okay, it's technically not a "dog quote" but it's something I came across that I hope you enjoy... You know you have a velcro dog when: You can't remember the last time you went to the bathroom alone. You've forgotten what it's like to take a solo flight through a doorway.
