Guide To Australian Shepherd Training & Care

Abbey Girl

We lost our sweetheart this past September and are finding it so very hard to get over it. We have thought about getting another dog but feel it would somehow take away from our memories of Abbey. We hope to get past that and adopt another Aussie sometime next year. It's true that her breed steals your heart and she will forever be with me there.

Hard to move on
by: Becky

We lost our wonderful Matie in February. We have his sister still and none of us could stay in the backyard very long because we missed the big guys "blue body " in charge out there. Shadow would just sit on the deck and stare where they used to run. By the end of March we were very worried for her and us too.
We found two aussie pups and we brought them home at 8 weeks. Another beauty of a blue merle and a black tri w/ copper markings. Gibbs and McGee ,2 brothers. Shadow could not stand them at first, but Mcgee bit by bit won her over and now she loves them both and they all sleep together.
It didn't get us over Matie but it helped heal Shadow and our hearts. It truly is the only love you can buy!
Lots of prayers and thinking of you!
