Their hair grows out by 6 months if it hasn't grown out by then, she is most likely to be the working type, and probably will have shorter hair.

I love my shorter hair Australian Shepherd, she is the best dog I have and she is from stock register, working dog.

I have four Australian Shepherds. One with shorter hair and the other three with little longer.
