Any Tips To Help My Shy Aussie?

Hello! I’ve been socializing my 1-year-old Mini Aussie as soon as I could and I’ve had her in puppy classes and some additional ones as well. I try to bring her everywhere to keep her and get her more socialized.

She is the most friendly and affectionate pup to me and our close family but is very shy and reserved around new people. She doesn’t like when people try to touch her head or pet her from behind.

I’ve read this is a normal trait of Aussies but I still feel guilty like I could have done more. :(

Does anyone else have this shyness in their Aussie around new people? Or any tips?
