Watching the fishermen

Hi Guys, Just want to share how much we are loving our very first Aussie Shepherd. Had no idea what impact he would have on us and how truly smart they are.

At the moment he is doing puppy training - 4 months - and it is amazing how quick he understands everything. Also, how funny it is when he doesn't want to do training. Loving it!!

I love your newsletter and look forward to all the information it gives me. Really, really helpful.

Alert dogs

I'm always impressed by how alert Aussies are. Archie has the same smart look in his eyes that my two Aussies (and all Aussies) have. I also get a kick out the way they always have to be right there looking at whatever is going on. They always have to be out front.

If I could get away with it, I'd have my dogs with me at work. The trouble is, I'd never get any work done...

Just had to smile and remember one of my mini Aussies, Patches, years and years ago… I'd purchased a large container with a snap lock to store her food (she was a blue merle,too). It had the type of lock that extends downward along the side of the container. She figured out how to unlock it and even had her brother Aussie, Max as a "lookout" while she snuck into the kitchen storage area to do so:)

Enjoy your wonderful boy and never be surprised at what he knows or can learn!

Thanks for reminding me of her. I still have Max, but sadly Patches is no longer with us.
