Aussie Puppy Nose

My puppy Abby is 9 months old. Her nose has been almost solid black except around the nostrils since she was 3 or 4 months old. Last week I noticed the very tip is now pink. I tried to get a good look at it but trying to hold her head still while I focus is no easy task.
Could it be she injured it and scrapped some of the skin off? I don't see any scabbing tho.

Does the nose continue to go thru changes after it has gone all black? I've had 3 others and that has never happened before. Should I take her to the Vet?

Hi,
Don't worry about the nose. It is all cosmetic and may be nothing at all. I definitely would not go to the vet unless it changes somehow. I have you talked to the breeder to see if any of her dogs do that? It may something specific to that line. I do know noses change color as they get older, usually the black becomes more dominant as they get older, I have never heard of it the other way around.
Maybe your aussie did just scratch his nose.
I would watch it and it if gets bigger or changes somehow and your concern rises then I would take it to the vet.

that happened to one of my dogs once, it turned out she had been bit by some ants on her nose, but it healed, and passed, no biggie. but if it gets worse, it never hurts to see a vet, jus keep an eye on it

Aussie with pink nose

I have a 5 month Aussie and is nose is mostly pink except for a small area of black. Maybe a missing pigment?
