Aussie Snow Day

I love this stuff!

Where do I start?

My girls love the snow. So when the blizzard started on Friday afternoon, they were going crazy to go out and play in the snow. Every time they went out to do their business, they chased each other, buried their heads in the snow (I really don't get that, but they love it), and chase each other or more leap at each other. We got about 2 ft of snow after it finally stopped on Saturday.

I love to watch them play in the snow! They make me smile and makes the snow days fun!

My brother has an outside aussie shepherd

My brother adopted a black Australian Shepherd (which is rare). we live in south Dakota and winters can be harsh and this dog prefers the cold. he has a kennel wrapped in tarp and filled with straw (he just eats and humps the blankets) but otherwise he is out in the elements and loves it. we bring him inside and he's panting and scratching at the door within the 1/2 hour.

Those pics are familar. I have two aussies, 2yr. Tri merel and 1 yr. Red. My tri, Sadie, runs after me on my snowmobile herding me like I'm a sheep. I clocked her at 32 miles/hr. A great way to exercise her and wear em out.

I basically have the same pictures of my two aussies and my brother's as well from during the blizzard a little east of you in Westwood where they got 30 inches. It's funny watching them hop over the snow.

My two Aussie girls (Candy and Cookie) absolutely love the snow--they love to sniff it, run in it, roll in it and eat it. It also seems that they are so more excitable in the snow! It is so fun to watch...

My pup is the same and so was my previous aussie. They love the snow. I can't wait to take him out just because he makes it so fun. Enjoy!
