Australian Shepherd Always Seems Hot

My boy Jax always seems hot. Even after he's been inside for a while, he sometimes pants heavy, like he's just come in from running. Just curious if this is normal?

He's 16 weeks. He has a vet check up next week and I'll ask about it then, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Of course his favorite place in on top of the floor vent!

My dog is the same way. I would like to know that too. Lately after daily walks he pants and seems miserably hot for about 30 min. after we get home. I worry so much about my boy. I wish I knew.

Yes they run hot

I have 2 Aussies one is 7 the other a pup and yes they both run on the hotter side even when puppies but love water. I was concerned when my older one was a pup but she still like that and so is the pup completely not related to her. I think they are just like that both of my dogs are healthy and happy.
