ASCA/AKC Registered Australian Shepherds. We are a small home based show breeder known for exceptionally calm and loving Aussies. We occasionally have puppies available when we breed to keep a show puppy for ourselves. Our goal is to improve the breed while also creating smart, healthy, loving family dogs. Our puppies have been successful in conformation, agility, herding and obedience competitions. The parent dogs are health screened including OFA and annual eye clearances. The puppies have eye certificates, current vaccinations and are dewormed. Our puppies and grown dogs are raised on an all natural raw diet for maximum lifetime good health and longevity.

   We have an adorable playful athletic boy puppy ready to go to your forever family home. He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained and socialized with people of all ages. Still a puppy but all the hard part of bringing home a baby puppy is taken care of. He loves to play, cuddle and be with people. He fetches, jumps over 3-4 feet, and runs very fast at the same time that he quietly settles in at your side just to hang out with you. The perfect combination of being athletic while being very calm and attentive.
   Born June 10, 2024. Comes with eye certificate, proof of vaccinations certificate and health guarantees. Lovingly raised in our family home. He loves to play with toys and kids, learns easily and is eager to please. Everything you want in an Aussie puppy.

   We are proud to be Australian Shepherd breeders and raise quality, purebred, STANDARD sized Aussies registered with AKC and/or ASCA. Australian Shepherds are the only breed and primary focus at Hillside. All of our dams and sires are genetically tested and have the most comprehensive DNA test completed because health is a priority to us in any litter that we breed.
   We are nestled in the beautiful hills of Southern California on a 500 acre ranch. Which enables our Aussies to run, play and enjoy life like this breed really loves to do.
   Their days are spent following us around in and out of our home. They enjoy watching over our kids playing or chasing balls and rolling around in the grass at what we call "the park" on our ranch, taking a dip in the pond and of course laying around the house being loved up on or played with by the kids. Our dogs are part of our family. They love to give love and be loved. Our pups are very confident and acclimated to noises, kids, cats, and other dogs. Each puppy is cared for and gets individual handling and attention until they go to their forever home. Our goal is to produce healthy, structurally sound Australian Shepherds with outstanding temperaments. We are also passionate about keeping our puppies natural tail, however fluffy or long it may be.
   They are exactly what we hoped our Aussies would be - the perfect family dogs… 🐾

New litter of 5 puppies available to go home now! 1 black tri male, 1 red tri male and 3 black tri females. Some with blue eyes. All have had a wellness exam done by our vet along with their first set of vaccinations, deworming and flea/tick prevention.

AKC registered and have had a panel of DNA health tests. These test include: Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Cone Degeneration (CD), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Hereditary Cataracts (HC), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Intestinal Cobalamin Malabsorption (IGS), Multidrug Resistance (MDR1), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 6 (NCL6), and Progressive Retinal Atrophy / Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA/PRCD). Both Hereditary Cataracts (HC) and Intestinal Cobalamin Malabsorption (IGS) are for Australian Shepherd Type.

We require a $250 non-refundable deposit to reserve your puppy. Please call to answer our questions and also to give you information about our breeding program. All puppies will have health reports, pedigrees, lab reports of parents. A commitment from us as your breeder for the life of your dog to answer any questions or concerns.
