Blue Merle Australian Shepherd Puppy Has Grey Lavender Hues

Lavender grey

My blue merle Aussie is a tri but her coat is mostly white with grey (almost appearing lavender grey) and black spots, has anyone ever heard of a purple appearance or am I color blind?

That’s the thing with Aussies you never know what color they can be. With litters there might be 4-5 variations. I got a puppy from a blue merle mother that is basically blue merle but some brown. The other pups from the litter were red merle, black, tri color and just a mix. The father was a brown and white Aussie.

The grey/lavender colour is the blue (as in 'BLUE' merle!) colour.
