You had to leave me this week. There was nothing the doctor could do so you could stay. I'm so sorry that I couldn't help you in the way that I would have wanted but I hope my decision helped you leave this Earth peacefully. You have been my best friend and companion for 13 years. You have helped me through some of the worst times in my life, always there when I needed you. You loved me unconditionally, even when I wasn't at my best. My heart breaks every time I think of you. I miss you so much and still can't believe you're gone. I glad that you aren't alone. I am sure that Dad, Cody, and Triscuit were there to greet you. I will always keep you in my heart. I love you so much and I can't wait until we are together again.

There is nothing worse than losing a pet as they are a member of the family. It's like losing a mother, father, sister or brother. As time goes on it does get better but you will always miss them. Your unconditional love will never leave when you lose a pet. I think you should read the poem "Rainbow Bridge". I know it has helped me when I am feeling sad about losing Lady, Muffy and Angel. Now I have Rudy and Rambo. Maybe in time you could get another Aussie. They are such wonderful pets. Good luck. I hope you find peace.

So sorry for your loss, I really understand your pain. Its been three months sense my Cody left me, it is so hard. Like your beautiful Bridget he was always there for me no matter what, even when I wasn't at my best, the good times and the bad. Aussies are very special dogs. Bridget will live forever in your heart, and she will always be watching over you, and you will see her again someday. I think Angels have four legs...

I feel your pain for your loss, we lost our aussie and she was 9 she was a siezure dog since 9 months old. What even touches me more is that your Bridget looks like our Shelby.

Know that there are many others who feel your pain. Our pets are very special to us and part of our family. I hope your pain soon is replaced with just the sweet memories you shared. I do believe we will be with all of our loved ones again. There is a reason for the Rainbow Bridge!
