Brutus and Owen

Brutus is a Red Tri, just turned two in July. Owen is a Blue Merle, and turns two in February. They both Love to herd cows and play all day on my father-in-law's farm. I've started to work Brutus on clearing Canadian geese from local parks and fields.

Beautiful Boys

Until last year I also had a blue merle (Macaulley) and a red tri (Toby). I'm disabled so spend most of my time at home, and without my two boys would be miserable. We did everything together: eat, sleep, gardening, even watch movies. A year ago I found a small lump on Toby and took him to the vet immediately. He had lymphatic cancer, and died six weeks later. He was only 8 1/2 years old, and had never been sick. Mac was 10 and he and I cried, couldn't eat, sleep or even think straight. A month later I rescued a young shepherd mix pup who no one wanted and he knew it. He was so timid, but has grown into a loving and cuddly guy. He is our new spoiled baby and very loved, but everytime I see a red tri my heart breaks again. I still cry everytime I see even just a picture of one. Toby was a sweet, loving gentle soul. A chunk of my heart got ripped out the day he passed away.
