Concerned About My Aussie Having a Reaction With Tick Collars

Help me protect him from Ticks

I bought a FurLife tick collar (natural herbs) and after 2 1/2 weeks found a tick right near the collar on his face today. (Obviously a waste of money.) So I ordered a Seresto collar and now read Aussies can be very sensitive to certain chemicals.

Should I use it and watch him? We live on a farm and he is outside a lot. Please help. Seresto did work for another dog w/o issues. Whoever has Aussie's and used Seresto Collars please help us know what to do asap.

Tick Collars

We tried that brand and also a few others on our Festus and they made him so lethargic, which is not a good sign. We also found one up by his face with a collar, I'm not sure which one it was. The vet had put him on the lowest dose, so to speak, he was lethargic and still had a tick. Watch your pup carefully when using these.
