Dog Fall

by Siena Boggs
(TN)

My dog is named Boz. He was only 6 weeks old. One evening we were on the front porch. Boz was looking out. He stuck his two front paws out of the gate of the porch. And then he pushed further and further until only his back legs was the only part of his body on the porch, and the rest of his body was sticking out. And then you know what happened to him? His back legs slipped out, and he was crying like crazy. The ground all the way up to the porch was like 6 feet down or so. And when Boz hit the ground it sounded like a bunch of mice making noise all together. It was horrible. Then my babysitter went down and picked up Boz and he was crying even louder and louder. When he was walking we all cried even Boz. Dad, Mom and me thought his leg was broken, but his leg just was sore for a little bit, so we were lucky! And that is my dogs story.
