Excessive Barking; What Can I Do To Stop It?

We have a fenced yard for the dogs to play etc.
But new puppy when left in there with other dogs, which he gets along with, will stand at the back and bark. Tomorrow is a full week since we got him.

He also does this if I am in the yard at the opposite end from the gate. But real bad if I go into the house. Can anyone help?

we had a 3 year old blue .Missy ,out side she would run and jump and bark at the air . or birds or any thing else. in the car a bark a second. some aussies are just that way .we have a huge dog park in ohio ,with a lake .its about 25 mins .to drive it. a bark a second to get there. I could go on but,my wife found if she sat in the back seet and kept Missys head down so she could not see things to bark at, she would not bark.oh a lot of treats and peting on the way there we lost her to a seizure at 3.5 years old.we were sick. all I can say is just Love your aussie.we miss ours.she is on this site MISSYS SONG
