Eye Color Changes In Australian Shepherd Puppy

This is my puppy Sterling he's a blue merle male 5 weeks now and I was told by the breeder he has double blue eyes. I was unable to find any info online for that so I am wondering if his eyes will stay this color of blue?

I’ve seen eye color change, especially in merles, as late as a year old.
