Flea / Tick Meds

I have a red tri Aussie that is almost two years old. My vet gave her a two month supply of Comtortis for flea/ticks. It's been a terrible year for both. She is a inside dog. We do live in KY, where problem is bad for these. Would like advice before giving any more to her.

I read this website alot, to learn all information I can on safety and health issues for Aussies.

I put Advantix II on my aussie in the spring and kind of see how it goes from there. She is an outside dog. The ticks were bad in Michigan this year. Never had a flea problem. I put one dose on her in April and a 1/2 dose in May and have not used it since.
