Frequent Urination HELP!!!

by Julia
(Kentucky)

Willow, 4 months old blue merle has been urinating alot lately. She will go to the door to signal for potty. I take her and her brother out. She urinates immediately and then routes around as if she is now going to defecate. Then she urinates again. Then I wait to make sure they are both finished (usually 3-5 mins) and she urinates again.

She just started this and normally she is very disciplined and the first one to potty and the first one to go back in the house.

What do I do? Please help this is my first dog and I don't want anything to happen to either one of them.

Thank you.

UTI's are very common in puppies. She probably needs some antibiotics from your vet and will be fine.

Thank you guys for taking the time to read and respond. I want to give you an update on Willow. She is doing great and actually I gave her plenty of water to drink in hopes that it would flush out her system. It worked.
