How Much Drinking Water to Be Left Puppy and How Do You Deal With Chewing?

Just got a 10-week-old Miniature Australian Shepherd, Benson.

1. Do I leave his water bowl on the floor and in his crate all the time in terms potty training or only periodically? How about at night, when he is asleep?

2. Any suggestions on chewing? He chews on things a lot.
