Is There Hope to Relieve the Frequency of Seizures in Dogs?

My 9-year-old best friend, Duke, has frequent seizures, now every week. In 24 hours he had had five; he sees the Vet tomorrow.

Duke is on Zonisamide, Phenobarbital didn't work. He may be building a tolerance to the Zonisamide.

Has anyone gone through this? Is there hope to relieve this frequency?
