Logan came to live wih us Jan 2009 at 5 1/2 weeks old (I had spent my first teenage paycheck on purchasing my first Aussie, Smoky 19 years ago). Logan has been a lifesaver. I recently retired due to illness and had become pretty much a dormant couch potato, because of Logan I found a reason to get out of the house every day.

The only thing he wants is our attention and to play, the entire family loves him. I have been met with mixed response about his breed when people saw him, the local pet store trainer was cautious and referred to Aussie's as nippy but we have socialized him with walks to the park and visits with others since he was 12 weeks old and never had a problem.

Logan is now ready to begin intermediate training and excels at anything he is taught. When we did "watch me" in class "release" did not work it was hilarious. He has reminded me why I love the breed so much and even though he has his quirks is the perfect for our family.

My husband had never known an Aussie before and having worked with protective training was a firm believer in German Shepherds and Dobermans he now agrees that Aussies are irreplacable :)
