Major Itchy Skin

Sophie will be 2 in August. We have never had any issue with allergies. All of the sudden she is biting her forearms and paws. Biting and licking them enough that they are very red.

Our vet said change her food to something with no chicken and also to give her a Claritin 2 times a day. It seemed to be getting better, but all of the sudden it’s bad again.

She itches constantly during the day and even throughout the night. We live in Florida.

Does anyone have thoughts on this?
