My Australian Shepherd Has a Bump on His Head

I have a one-year-old Australian Shepherd and just noticed a large bump on the back of his skull. Is this normal?

I read they call it a knowledge bump. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi! My Aussie too has this. I’m not sure if it is in fact a characteristic Aussies usually have. I was searching to see and came across your comment.

Bumps are normal

Yes! That's a common characteristic of an Australian Shepherd! No worries, something they ALL have.

My dog started off with a bump on the top of his head and now it's spreading and has hair loss because of it. Has anyone heard of this? The vet has no clue what it is or what can help with this.
