My Beloved Best Friend Abby

It has been a week since I lost my best friend of 12 1/2 years and my heart is broken. She was my baby, my companion, my shadow. I miss her every day and wish that I had just a little more time with her. The tears I cry are selfish tears... I miss her presence in my life, but I know that she is young again and jumping and leaping in the air, playing with all of those who are waiting for their humans to join them. I am thankful to have had such a friend in my life who loved me so unconditionally.

My heart goes out to you

I know Abby is in a great place, waiting for her family to be with her. We lost are Shelby shells and we do have a great story about her on here.

It still bothers us because we were not there for her.

Aussies in Heaven

On July 5 of this year I suddenly lost my best friend, Lucky. We had been together 24/7 for 10 years. Even as I write this your story is making me cry. Richard Greer ( the actor ) said that he doesn't know what is under the dog costume, but he is pretty sure that dogs are with us much longer than the sliver of time they spend with us here on Earth. Perhaps Lucky and Abby are sharing a tennis ball, playing together in long green grass, and waiting for us in Heaven.
