Naish

I drove 7 hours to get Naish in North Georgia, it was Christmas, 2009. He was so tiny and adorable. I had originally picked out another puppy but Naish just sat in the back and stared at me. It was meant to be. We went to the cabin I had rented and I became sick that night. Naish just cuddled up next to me all night as if he knew I didn't feel well. The next morning we headed back home and he layed in my lap the entire trip.

The next 13 years 8 months with Naish was magnificent. He was even featured here on Australian Shepherd Lovers ! I work in healthcare and he has traveled all over the world with me. He even had a European passport! Our travels took us to Ireland, Northern Ireland and 12 US States. He loved to hike trails with me and swimming. Naish swam in rivers from Oregon to the River Liffey in Ireland. He was as adventurous as me (both Scorpio with our birthdays 2 days apart) and we were perfect for each other.

His passing was sudden and I will never get over the loss of my best buddy!
