Chelsea was our 14 year old miniature Australian Shepherd who lived with us from July 1995 until her passing on September 4, 2009. We found Chelsea on a farm in Roy, Washington in 1995 when in the Army stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. We originally went to the farm in response to an add advertising Border Collies, but were immediately drawn to the Australian Shepherds. Chelsea was a trooper, having moved with us from Washington State, to Hawaii, to Virginia, back to Hawaii and then San Antonio, Texas. She was the best pet a dog owner could ask for - smart, loyal and most faithful. She gave us her unconditional love and never asked anything from us (other than food that is). You couldn't ask for a better companion. She had the heart of a puppy even at age 14. We miss her dearly.
