We lost our beloved 11 year old Aussie in November. Of course we were heartbroken, but couldn't stand living without that Aussie energy around! We adopted a 10 month old two weeks later that was being given up because they failed to realize how much time and energy they take! He came to us not housebroken and very few manners and not socialized.
He is 15 months old now and a total joy! He swims across the lake daily, runs like a pro alongside our bikes in the state park, and is crazy for Frisbee! We took 8 lbs off of him (he was caged constantly as a puppy with no exercise). He is now 54 lbs from 62. He is protective of his home, but once off property, he is a perfect gentleman with an aloof but approachable attitude.
We can't get enough of him and thank God daily that we were allowed to find such a great boy!
