Parastar Plus?

We live in an area where ticks abound and find it sadly necessary to apply a pesticide to our Mini Aussie. We have been using K9 Advantix II, but our vet has changed to Parastar Plus. Does anyone have any experience with Parastar Plus?

Frontline Plus

I live in a county in NY that has one of the highest deer tick populations in the country. My son and I have both been treated for Lyme Disease along with one of my dogs. The only thing that we have found that works for animals is Frontline Plus. Being that my current Aussie lives in the water, it is also waterproof.
