Penny, Aussie and German Shepherd Mix

Aussie and German Shepherd Mix

Aussie and German Shepherd Mix

She is our beloved Penny, looked like a chocolate chip cookie when we got her from Georgia. She was adopted in Blue Ridge, Ga, and had the sweetest temperament. Intelligent and quite the Velcro dog, she made sure her family was herded to bed every night.

Sadly Penny passed away on July 29 due to cancer. We loved this dog and she was a great mixture and of loyalty and sweetness. Her coat was triple layered and as she got older the more downy undercoat she grew, which gave her a wolf-like appearance. This breed was the only dog I saw that actually smiled.

This Aussie mix had a great temperament with children and loved to give hugs. Not very good as a watch dog because she would probably hug the person that was there to take her family’s valuables.

I would recommend this breed mixture for families with children.
