Piper-Marie, Day 1

This is a portrait of Piper on my lap the first day I got her. She's a full Aussie given up to Animal Control because she is blind. Her handicap has created some interesting challenges, and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

What a cutie pie! We also live in Atlanta and got our first Aussie at the Atlanta Humane Society. We had her for 16 wonderful (and interesting!!) years! Thank you for rescuing this sweet girl. I know she will enrich your life as much as you will enrich hers. We had a blind dog a few years ago and they do amazingly well once they get used to their surroundings. Good luck and please post more pics as she grows up.
