I have had 3 Aussie puppies over the years and I was told by our breeder, that we should stamp our foot a yell NO! It worked... Not one of my dog's nipped at all after a few foot stomping's.

My little aussie did the same thing. We used a can of air to snap her out of doing it. She soon learned when she nips heels, a loud whoosh sound happens.
