Question About Australian Shepherd Stud Service

I'm considering studding out my next male Australian Shepherd. I've never bred dogs before and I'm thinking about "getting my feet wet" by starting with a male Aussie. Do you have any tips?

I'd get him health and DNA testedand make sure that he's all clear of the most common Aussie ailments before deciding to breed him.

Do you know where I might go to find out if the market for outsourced Aussie stud service is high in my area?
