Stubborn Australian Shepherd?!

For the past couple of years my 12-year-old girl, a blue merle Australian Shepherd has progressively stopped coming when called?! She deliberately ignores me although she’s listening quite attentively but won’t budge!

Hearing

Probably a hearing problem. All older dogs go deafer as they age. I always have taught my dogs the come here wave which works very well with old dogs.

Hearing loss

Maybe check her hearing. I know as they get older, like us, their hearing and vision can change or be lost. I don't think she is being stubborn, just can't hear as well or at all.
