Temperament Change

My almost 6-yr old Aussie has become more aggressive toward other dogs in recent years and bit someone recently. He also has had two seizures in the last six months. How common is seizure disorder in Aussies? Is there any possible linkage between the onset of seizures and a change in temperament in my Aussie?
