The Mushroom Pate Is Missing?

by Carey M
(Pittsburgh, Pa)

So I made a dip for a party: one large onion sauteed in olive oil, a small 8 oz box of mushrooms also sauteed. Add 1 package cream cheese into the fry pan, stir and let cool. Very good on crackers for an hors d'oevre.

Went into the kitchen several hours later to remove the pate from the frying pan where it cooled. The pan was empty. Hmm I guess my husband must have put it in the fridge? No, he had not touched it!

Our year old Aussie had jumped onto the counter, removed the frypan lid, and licked the whole pan very clean... but wasn't smart enough to put the lid back on perfectly...

Counter surfing
by: Karen

My 2 year old Aussie is definitely a counter surfer. This is my first Aussie and my other dogs never did that so it is definitely a new experience for me.

Pate goes well with salmon
by: Anonymous

Our 7 month old Aussie enjoyed two raw salmon steaks, seasoned and waiting on the kitchen counter, when my husband left the kitchen for a minute. The mushroom pate would have tasted great with that salmon!
