Jackie in her Thundershirt

We have two eight year old Aussie females. Jackie and Jessie. Jessie is calm as a cucumber no matter what. Jackie is scared of anything loud or noisy. We were desperate trying to find something to help her through the annual 4th of July fireworks. Tried the Thundershirt. Worked like a miracle for her. Literally five minutes after we put it on her she fell asleep on her bed. Here is her photo just as she fell asleep while it sounded like WW3 outside that night.

I was skeptical at first about the Thundershirt. For months, I would stop and look at the box at Petsmart. I couldn't justify spending $43 (XL) on a T shirt! I did the research and read the reviews. It wasn't until Frankie was diagnosed with the horrible Cushing's disease that I finally bought the Thundershirt. He had anxiety with thunder, storms, separation, fireworks, loud noises..etc. Within 10 mins of putting on the shirt, he was calm and relaxed! What a blessing! I gave him a treat and left it on for a few hours then took it off. The next day I put the shirt on gave him a treat and went to work. Now he wears it all the time! I wish I had bought the Thundershirt years ago!

I've read many mixed reviews on the thunder shirt and my girl is also afraid of boom noises.
I've given her Rescue Remedy and it might help a little but not much. I should try the Thunder shirt but don't want to waste the money if it doesn't work.

My granddaughter read about the Thundershirt and placed an old tee shirt on their corgie/chow mix who was afraid of loaud noises. It worked like such a charm that he doesn't even want to take it off.
