We have been having problems with poop getting stuck to Charlies butt. Do you trim the hair around Aussie's butts?

We trim the hair around our Aussies' butts. It is a sanitary issue... nothing more.

absolutely, we used to do it all the time, because otherwise it can get hairy (in more ways than one), and it doesn't look bad either.

The "Behinder" Fur Clipping

Yes! I like my dog's fur long except on his behind. He is a blue merle with fairly Teflon fur except for the butt fur. I use scissors and trim it myself. I do this weekly.
