Two Female Australian Shepherd Puppies Showing Aggression

by Pamela
(Kingsport, TN)

Last week we got two female Australian Shepherd puppies. One is a red tri and the other a blue merle. They have started showing aggressive behavior toward each other. The red tri is worse than the blue merle. She gets aggressive with me when I try to separate them. Does anyone have any suggestions. This behavior is bad enough at their age, but would be totally unmanageable as they get bigger. We have had Old English Sheepdogs and Bernese Mountain Dogs in the past and still have a seven year old Old English that is a big baby. I have trained all our dogs with great success, and want to have the same results with these. Will welcome any feedback I can get on this matter. Thanks
