Guide To Australian Shepherd Training & Care

US, Illinois, 7 Years Old, Archer

by Konstantin Bondarenko
(Illinois / Colorado)

Archer is very affectionate, brilliant, and loves nothing more than spending time outdoors and with people. He's also reactive and does not do well with other dogs, nor kids. Surprisingly, he does well in doggy daycare, groomers, and wide open space dog parks with other dogs, just not on the street or in a home.

He's well trained and the reactivity is easy to manage, but he does not get on well with our kid. He would do great in a home with no dogs and no young kids.
