What Is A Good Companion For My Aussie?

I have the most loving, social, and outgoing male 4 mo old Aussie (Barkley) and I would like to get him a companion at some point in the next few months. He is relatively submissive and incredibly playful. Any recommendations on breed/gender?

Another Aussie.......that is what we did

We have two Aussies and they are wonderful playmates together. They herd each other and neither of them cares. They sure do have fun together. I would say another Aussie.
