What Size Crate For Mini Aussie?

Im getting a male merle Aussie in June and I'm super excited. I'm wondering what size crate I should get him. I want to just by one crate that he can use throughout all his stages until I decided on a new one. I've been looking at the 36' crate and the 30' crate. Which would be best for him?
